Conceptual design of the programme of study

Bonn is one of the leading locations for non-governmental organisations (NGOs) worldwide. The new programme of study leading to the degree of Master of Business Administration in NGO Management has been introduced by the Department of Business Administration in Rheinbach in the winter semester (2009/10) - in the vicinity of the great number of UN organisations, hundreds of NGOs and their associations as well as international schools and scientific organisations; its purpose is to look at organisations engaged in the areas of international development cooperation, environmental protection and health from the point of view of Business Adminstration.

The part-time based programme is designed to be completed in 18 months. The classes in the first and second semester will be scheduled after official work hours during the weekends to allow individuals with fulltime jobs to attend the classes. The third semester allows the students to focus on their transfer projects and their master thesis.
